Goldfish Flashcards app for iPhone and iPad

Goldfish Flashcards is a simple flashcard card app for language learning that emphasises comprehension and quick review times. Cards are fast to create and there are no test settings to worry about. Cards are single sided and displayed in a list. Simply swipe a card to the right if you understand it or to the left if you dont.

How to use:
1. Create new cards by tapping the compose icon in the top right.
2. View new and failed cards in the Study tab. When you are happy you understand a card, mark it as studied by swiping it to the right. It will appear one day later in the Review tab.
3. View cards that need review in the Review tab. Swipe a card to the right if you understand it or to the left if you dont.

Scheduling:
Goldfish Flashcards uses a simple spaced repetition algorithm for scheduling reviews. After marking a card as studied it will appear for review in 1 day. If you pass the card it will next appear for review in 3 days, then 7 days, then 14 days, etc. If at any time the card is failed it will return to the Study tab and the review process will start again. The final review interval is 30 days, after which a card is considered learnt and is automatically deleted.
